As an exceptionally highly qualified and experienced practitioner in his field, Joseph Poullis brings extensive expertise in counselling, psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Cognitive Analytic Therapy and hypnotherapy to his role as Clinical Director of The Psychotherapy Clinic.

About Joseph Poullis 

Joseph holds an MA and post-MA Diploma in Counselling Psychology, as well as four further degrees, two of which are at Masters level and in the fields of Psychology of Education and Counselling Psychology.  He is also currently enrolled for the Post-Chartered Doctorate in Counselling Psychology at London’s City University and is an experienced lecturer in the subject of psychology. 

Professional Registrations

As well as being a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, Joseph is a Chartered Counselling Psychologist registered with the UK’s health regulator, the Health Professions Council, and a chartered member of the British Psychological Society.  Highly active in the research of emotional intelligence and therapy, he practises an integrative approach to treatment which includes Cognitive Analytic and Cognitive Behavioural Therapies to facilitate lasting positive change.

Experience

The past 10 years have seen Joseph involved in clinical work, teaching and academic practice within private, public and educational healthcare contexts.  Not only has he worked at GP medical centres and overseas therapy clinics, but also at the world-famous Guy’s Hospital and with leading mental health charity Mind.

About Yifat Hollander 

Chartered Counselling Psychologist B.Psych (Hons), MA & Post-MA Counselling Psychology (CPsychol). I am a Chartered Counselling Psychologist, registered with the British psychological society (BPS). I am also a member of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP) and the Society for Existential Analysis (SEA).  My theoretical orientation is integrative combining Psychodynamic (object-relations) and Existential-Phenomenological approaches.  In addition I offer short term Cognitive Analytic Therapy (CAT).  I have extensive experience of working with adults within the NHS and the voluntary sector. I worked at the 'Munro Centre' in Guy’s hospital, 'Hammersmith and Fulham Mind' and 'Richmond Counselling and Psychotherapy Service'. I work with clients exhibiting varied range of symptoms and difficulties, such as: depression, isolation, confusion, anxiety, eating disorders, panic attack, stress, self-esteem and relationship difficulties.  I hold a degree in Psychology, a Masters in Counselling Psychology and a post-MA Diploma in Existential- Phenomenological Counselling Psychology. 

About Philippe Jacquet

Philippe Jacquet is the founder of the Eating Disorder & Addiction Specialists group. He is a specialist in Addiction Therapy and Spiritual Counselling, with over ten years' experience of helping people with addictions, eating disorders, personality disorders and trauma recovery.Counselling Central London

Philippe trained at www.hazelden.org, and has since worked with adolescent offenders in Belguim, at Hope-one Recovery Centre in Brussels, Promis Recovery centre in Kent and most recently Life Works in Surrey. He lectures and gives workshops across the globe on treating addiction, and is an instructor in Non-Violence Crisis Intervention. He is currently working toward two MA's in integrative art therapy and eating disorders.
